Women Owning It (Mentorship): Panel Discussion

Join our partner, the Made in NY Media Center by IFP, for an informative and inspiring morning session on mentors and building networks.

Mentorship and resource sharing are two critical ingredients for success in every endeavor.  The Made in NY Media Center has curated an expert panel of engaging community organizers who have built strong mentorship networks in the city.  They will share how resources and knowledge gets shared in safe spaces, how people find mentors in informal, organic ways when building their network, and how new voices in media and tech are working to build capacity for the next generation.  Don’t miss this — you’re bound to feel reinvigorated and empowered after participating in this event!

Panelists include:

Cody Jacobs (WE NYC)
our own Huriyyah Muhammad (The Black TV & Film Collective)
Iyabo Boyd (Brown Girls Doc Mafia)
Jessica Millstone (NYEdTech Meetup)
and Netta Dobbins (Mimconnect).
